The Plan

Hey all, after a short trip to Las Vegas where i met some friends from YWAM in Oz (Dan & Cat and child to be)i have made my way to San Diego where i will be stationed for a few months. In my last update i said i would tell you about the next project when i knew. Thank you Jesus! i think He has told me.













Here it is! While im staying in San Diego ill be putting together a Package for a documentary film on the topic of sex exploitation and abuse in Indonesia. It seems this topic is on Gods heart. There are many lost, broken and thirsty people (John 4 Woman at the well) being taken advantage of. I think as christians we do need to do something about it (Protect orophans and widows,James 2:27 and "becuase of your love for each other they will know you are my children".) This stuff is everywhere, even in the USA (cough) Las Veges. God has put Indonesia in my heart though.

Im not sure what my specific goal is with the film yet, other then bring light on the situation and Gods love and word to the viewer and people in the film. I'll be researching to find the right story and angle and praying about it every step. If any of you have information or know anyone who knows about the sex trade and industry in Indo or anywhere in the Malaysia area shoot me an email so i can check it out. seanmarin1987@netscape.net

Apart of the film Packege will be a list of cameras, computers, lighting and travel gear for the film that will be going strait into FirstFruits to fully get it off the ground! I'm hoping this film will show the heart of FirstFruits as a ministry and be a great insentive for people to get behind me and the ministry finacially.

Im planning to return to OZ at the end of 2009 or early 2010 and plan to shoot this film in March of 2010. Im hoping to travel the USA and parts of Canada later this year to visit church's all over and share this project to raise funds for it.

Please Pray about this with me. I want Gods desired story and angle as well as provision and open hearts to support and come along side with me on this project.

done and moving

Last week i finished my SDF (School Of Digital Filmmaking) with a night we all showed our final projects and had some laughs!



I finished my course with a 90 percent! that may be one of my best grades ever, so i was very stoked! Now with the school done im taking a couple weeks to pray and plan the months ahead. Right now im in Kauai Hawaii with one of my roommates Devon Moon.



Ill be heading to "Main Land" on the 14th of july and meeting some Friends from Australia in Vegas and hooking up with the XXXChruch Crew that i met in Australia too. http//www.xxxchurch.com after that ill be going to San Diego for a couple weeks to plan out the next step.




At this point i think ill be going around the U.S. raising money for First Fruits ( the ministry im running) in Australia. Ill be looking for more supporters for me and ones who will help me get film and editing gear together so i can start making better films and be able to house more people who want to be apart of First Fruits.



Im seeking God on a next Film project, either it be a documentary or a narrative film, but one that will get people excited to be apart of and put their money into. While im in San Diego ill be working on a good web site and putting together a package (i hate to use the word but) "advertising" the ministry. i hope to be back in Oz early 2010 God willing. Please keep this and me in prayer. For guidence and passion and the right story to tell. My passion is to tell a story that is going to change people in the western countries! So ask God to show me that! IM excited for the months to come Its going to be a big challenge and a monumental growing period for the ministry!
