Christmas!

hey everyone sorry for not getting to you last week. Merry Christmas and happy new years! I hope you all have had a good week of family, friends and celebration. I had my first Oz christmas, it was defenetly different but mermorable.


On christmas eve all of us YWAM ophan kids got together and had a little party enjoying the night. we all stayed in the same house and woke up the next morning to have breakfast and open the gifts that were sent by family and friends.





For dinner a group of us went with some friends to the beach and had a traditional Oz Christmas!



for the next couple weeks a dude named luke from canada is staying at my place, he's a friend of a ywam staff Ryan K. luke is about 5'10 180lbs, and single......

anyways he's a cool guy and im glad to have somone in the house with me.

Surf`ari

hey all. so this morning at 530am ill be leaving for a week surf camp towards byran bay. ill be filming the week for the boys that are going and hanging out with them. our days are going to be surf in the morning then lunch it, and have a message and small groups and talk about the message on a more personal level then some free time and more surf and dinner. at the end of the night there will be a short film clip from the events of the day done by your's truly. please keep us all in prayer, we are taking 20 boys. im hoping for a life changing experience!

Celebration!

hey all, so this last week was my birthday (dec,4) so im 21 now! The week was really cool. God surrounded me with some really caring people out here. Thursday i had dinner with my skate boys and was given a mouse for my present...he's cute though. And on Saturday i had dinner with the YWAM crew and they fully surprised me with a little party action at the local star bucks. it was really cool, i never expected that so it meant a lot (for all of you who were there) Thanks.

This Coming weekend

This week im helping a friend remodel his mechanic shop. but on Wednesday i think im leading bible study and want to talk about Dreams for the future, and our passions. Please take a second and ask God to put the message that He wants me to share in my heart for Wednesday.
This weekend we are running a skate church/skate competition/ evangelism event in one of the local small towns around the sunny coast. so please keep that in prayer.

Surf Safari

This Coming week i was invited to go in a week long surfing camp that is being put on by the Chaplin’s from the public schools. My role in this is to film the week and make something for the kids to have and look back at. But the main goal of the camp is to build relationships with the local kids and share Christ with them. It’s such a cool opportunity to get into the community. I’m really stoked about getting the name First Fruits out there too!


Thanks for all the prayer. I know prayer can be hard sometimes, I struggle to spend time in prayer, but when you just hang out with God and pour yourself out to Him, keeping no secrets about your feelings and thoughts its sooooo Good. I want to encourage you all to spend time with Jesus this week talking to Him. He's so good to talk to and work out things, He love's you!

in the thick of it

hey everyone, this is going to be a short update im on a pay computer. so schoolies has been really good this year, event cordinators are saying its been the best behaved crew in years. filming the documentary has been a bit frustrating due to ideas clashing with our anitial plan. i think we have a plan now that we have all agreed on. but please keep us all in pray this week, its a little stressful for me. and the boys (isha and dan) are getting frustrated as well. its been a good stay so far, we have been well taken care of, we are staying in a really nice hotel over looking the Gold coast, and Red frogs has been very hopitable. sorry about all the spelling mistakes. love you thanks for the prayer ill send another update on monday.

schoolies!

hey everyone sorry i didnt get to you all on monday like usual. this week has been very hectic trying to get everything ready for next week filming at schoolies.
tuesday morning i picked up Sam, who is organizing the Documentary, and his wife Reachel from the airport and now we are working out all the lagistics for next week. Pritty exciting though, im really looking forward to next week.

Sam and his Wife live in Las Vegas and work with a ministry called XXXChurch, you can check it out at www.xxxchurch.com its a really cool ministry that focus' on the porn community as a mission field going into Porn expo's and handing out bible's and evangelising. Check it out!

while we are at schoolies we are working with a group called Red Frogs, the same crew i went on tour up to cairns with last year. During the week we'll have film crews following the red frogs as they hang out with the youth and offer guidence to the many hurting teens and minister to them as they enjoy the week. then we will have a crew following the emergancy unit around and watching what there week looks like. And thirdly we will have a crew following a group of students as they go about there week.

its going to be a heap of work this week. our shifts are going to be somthing like 6pm-6am for the week, and day time is going to be spent sleeping and preparing for the next night. please keep us all in prayer for energy, protection and creativity and that most of all God will be made known and Glorified this week and that this production will stir people's hearts, making God known.

alright do it..

Hey everyone. so this last week was Prayer week it went really well i ended up playing worship a few times and during the week students were getting into the prayer! its always cool to see the students of the schools getting into the prayer and going after God. its very encouraging to see them get humbled by God and lay their lives down.

over the last few weeks, and more so, the last few days ive really been seeking God on what my focus should be for this next year and season. im wanting to be more influencial in the community and be more involved in the ministry of Reconcilation (2 Corinthians 5) AkA evangelical living, ive also been seeking God in what way he wants this Media ministry to move. so in light of that ive spoken with my leaders here and have decided to apply for a 3 month "School of digital Film" in Kona Hawiia at the YWAM (University of the Nations) base. since ive never had Proper training in film, ive really been challenged to get some if im going to take this seriously. i really want to do this with all my heart (Colossians 3:23). The School will start in April and end in june. After completing the course ill be heading back to Australia to keep on the work that im doing here and firmly establish the Ministy here, still shooting to have the ministry set up for more to come by mid next year!

November 4

Hey everyone. so this week is 24/5 prayer week in the DTS. last night my roomate Cam and i lead worship and i was asked to speak. the word that i shared was on Romans 12. (being a living sacrifice). God placed on my heart a message of repentance for all of us. God was challenging me to live more after His Heart and will, and share that with the school. after the message we had a time of prayer where we got into groups and prayed over each other and saught out what God had to share with us specificly in areas where we can begin to submit to God! it was good to see that several students that i knew were struggling with repsecting authority, and creating division with the other students were convicted by the Holy Spirit and broke down on there knees asking God to forgive and thanking him for bringing them back to Him!

this last weekend i had a friend from the Gold coast come and stay with me and do some local skate ministry stuff. we also had a friend from Sydney come up and speak at a local school.Then on friday night we helped run a youth event where some of our boys that we sponcer come out and skated and hung out with with the kids and shared the gospel.

October 27th woothousand eight

Today was a day of God showing a glimpse of the future i believe. today i went and looked at the warehouse that One Friday (the skate ministry) is moving into, and man, is it perfect! how good is God. it's so cool to see a place where so many ministries are going to be located under one roof sharing the same vision of business as missions.

i talked with a guy today that runs a DVD distribution company, his job is buying rights of movies in the states and getting them into theaters here and on the shelves in stores. He works with Disney and a few other companies, but the cool thing is his vision of production! sharing the same vision of making movies that influence people for good! im so excited to talk with him more and share my vision with him and see how we can work together.

i hope to be moving into the office building april next year or around that time and setting up a office outfitted for more people to work on films. But for years now i have had the desire to do audio recording (sound engineering) and have a recording studio where i can have local bands come in and record some stuff. Before i joined YWAM i even looked into attending a recording arts school in phoenix but God brought here (no complaints), but i still have that love for music. And in this office building i see the platform to set up a recording studio so i can get into the music scene here and get to know local musicians and Through the love of God in me and the many i work with, that they too will come to know God! but all in Gods time, right now one step at a time, i will be starting with setting up the production studio outfitted for more to come on board!

God is good! and he wants to be the good in people's lives, we are the salt of the earth and should shine like stars in the universe! but we need to get into the communities to be salt and to shine, doing good to all especially those in the house hold of believers!

I want to be as open and broken for you all as much as possible you guys play a much larger part in me being here then you may know and I may know, that being said.
I’m noticing that I have this bad habit of complaining to God and people. I want to move away from that and into thanking God for everything.

God is constant, He is Faithfull and we are broken sinful man and woman. A growing awareness of my short comings has been at the front of my eyes( a lacking of patients, my identity not being in God alone, and not accepting people where they are, and loving them). I’m really feeling inadequate in my position here and vulnerable as a person, trusting God with my insecurities and short coming’s (not being who I think I should be, or told I should be by the world around me) is much more of a task then just saying “Lord I trust myself to you” maybe I’m wrong but I’m finding it much harder. I know that unless I let God work in me (and us) I (we) keep his light from coming into the darkness of my life. But I think there are 2 ways I can go, either harden my heart and push away or let God open me and do His good in me.


Ya know, God is so good! Loving , Faithfull, in him there is no darkness. Thank you Jesus! Where I am lacking (we are lacking) He isn’t, He has more then enough, He is more then enough.


I’m also looking for a vehicle to get to work and around town. Please pray for that as well.

Tame it don't Claim it Tour

here are some photo's from the past trip we took to do skate comps and evangelismour biggist stop was at Tawoomba we had around 50 to 80 youth and adults show up for the compitition. where we shared the Gospel and spent the day skating and chating with local's

i had the task of driver for the trip and landed myself a speeding ticket.....great. 111 kmh over 100kmh, thats like going 5 over in the states....a kilometer is like half of a mile so you have to double the speed right? dont do it.
